Anyone running 2 skimmers at once?

Just a thought, is there anyone thats running 2 skimmer on the same system? I was thinking about maybe adding my old skimmer plus the new one.

I am. I'm running 2 bubble magus NAC 6's in my 180 FOWLR

You can run two skimmer one wet and the other dry that's what a lot of people that run two skimmer do

I was told by a reefer friend that different skimmers produce different skimmate. Some do finer bubbles, some bigger. I was thinking of tossing a second skimmer up in my looped system since once in a while my skimmer wigs out on me. I was also thinking I could put one on the timer with lights to only run during the day. It can't hurt if you don't care about the additional electrical draw.

I wouldn't buy two skimmers for this, but I can't see the harm in running two if you have them. I'd run both of mine if I had the room in my sump.
