I've got some free grape monti cap for you to use as a tester coral.

LOL I thought you were going to share some tips for us that are struggling with SPS.....:wildone:

Tip #3

Dont put grape monti cap in your DT lol......very invasive and you will not kill it off, it just goes every where ...put it on a rock that you are going to through out when you are done testing it lol

I agree with the majority of tip #3. I had it become invasive and had to tear down half my tank and get new rocks because of it, but I could have avoided it many years ago when I got it. Keep it on a separate rock that doesn't touch any other rock. It's not as bad as things like Xenia, mushrooms, and GSP that can fly from one rock to the other.

Sorry guys. Kid has been sick since Friday. I'll reply to everyone tomorrow.

Some tips- You have to keep parameters stable and nutrients low but not too low. If you have ever had SPS you know exactly what I mean. I think we could have a week seminar on the above. PS. Nivram- Hope family is feeling better.

We can post that info here :) I'm far from a expert. Probably can do a better job of telling people what not to do. Lol

But I will say that I seem to have better luck with my acros when my alk is on the lower end closer to 7.8-8 dkh. I'd argue my tank is also no where near low nutrients.
