Anyone up for a PE mysis group buy?

Great for reef tanks, and for seahorses. It is from Premium Aquatics, and each 8oz. flat pack is $12.95, but if we order 5 or more, they are only $10.00 each, 10 or more and they are $8.00 each. Shipping is an insulated box with DryIce, and is $10.00. Not sure how many people actually use mysis in their reef tanks, but if you have seahorses, then you know that mysis are a must. If nobody speaks up by Sunday night, then I will order by myself on Monday evening. If you do get in on this, they can be picked up at my house in Williamstown, WV.

Thanks,
Brock

I have tons of mysis in my tank. If anyone knows how to get them out easily I could harvest about 100 or so.

That would be cool, but i'm using them for a seahorse tank, and if a seahorse takes a liking to live foods, then they may not go back to frozen...also, they are highly cannibalistic, so housing them is difficult. If you can get maybe a dozen or so out of your tank before the meet, i'll take some. Clownfish treats. I just got a M/F pair of ocellaris clownfish i'm hoping will spawn. I'm going to ty your method of dripping foods for them. They would also be handy for SH juveniles. My male H. capensis seahorse just popped out 2 premie fry!

Good luck getting them to breed. Mine put out two cluches and then stopped.

You might want to get with me an Jason at the next meet. He has some kinda clown fish breeding tank setup idea where it will host the rotifers, green water and fry all in one tank configuration where you don't have to do all the water changes that you would in a normal setup. He's going to go over the setup with me. Might come in handy for you with your clowns and maybe be adapted to your seahorses as well.

Sorry to those of you that were thinking about ordering (if any), but I realized that I needed them more urgently than I thought, so I went ahead and bought some...

$45.00 total...for 8oz...

:(
