Scott, what is that little yellow slug type creature? It's in your "day 5" photo. I have two of those in my tank as well.

That is a yellow (filter-feeding) cucumber. This one was hiding in a colony of zoanthids and made it to my main tank at home. But I already had a filter-feeding cuke in their so I transported it to Tim's tank.

Tim's had an eventful week, but hopefully he'll make it out okay. On Friday I noticed that he'd lost an eye. No telling yet what this means for him long-term, as he seemed to be fine on Friday otherwise, but i'm hoping he pulls through and just earns a clever nickname from the experience.

Hey Density... just ran across this thread looking for something else. Very nice Mantis... be careful though. He can cut you pretty bad. An old acquintance had to get stitches from his mantis slash. While he can break glass its usually pistol shrimp that are known for smashing glass.

Tim's a big sissy, but I still using the feeding straw with him instead of feeding him by hand.

buy whole silversides, then cut it into small pieces, they seem to really like that.
