Anyone using Spa flex?

I have some 3/4" spaflex for my return line. This stuff is almost impossible to get fit my PVC fittings. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Know of a solution? I considered freezing the spaflex but I don't know if that would affect the cement bond.

I use Spa Flex when needed. I have never had a problem fitting it into the Schd 40 fittings. It is really hard to dry fit but once you add the glue it slides right in with ease. Just make sure you hold it in the fitting for a few or it will want to slide out.

I'm only running a 600GPH (@ 0 head) pump for my return and that gets broken up into the two separate returns. Even with all my 90's I still get about 400GPH into the tank.

Orr, someone else mentioned they never dry fitted spa flex. So that could be what I'm doing wrong. I will give it a try today and see what happens. Thanks!

I've used it many times on big and small tanks, I think is safer in many instances as it will flex, and not break, also water flows better through a sloped bend than a sharp 90. AltpersOna, your scared of everything! ;)

I'm using flexible PVC! It is easy to work with, you can cut it and join it back together with ease.
Are you using PEX tubing?
