Anyone want in on Specular aluminum for DIY reflectors?

I am going to order some specular reflective aluminum(same stuff the new lumenbrights are made of) to make a reflector but only need one sheet- It comes in a pack of 4 2x4 sheets. Anyone here want to get in on it and split these up? One sheet would easily be enough to make a lumenarc/lumenbright type reflector and I've already got the plans to do it It's $159 shipped for the 4 sheets so split 4 ways it's $40 a sheet. Here's the link:

and here are the ones I did way back...

do you have a pattern. i have one but i have to take it to kinkos or somewhere to have it blown up. i would take a sheet but i am a long ways away. when were you thinking of ordering

I do have the pattern, as well as a riveter...Interested? I'd like to do it within the next few weeks. Anyone else?

If you want to run another diy, I will come watch and drink a few beers. I will also bring my riveter for someone to use.

Is the stuff you're ordering hammer tone like the 2nd pic? If its the regular flat stuff I would be in for a sheet.

Dennis...Been around man...Just sort of sneaking back in :-) I'm working on bringing Chad's old 58 back to life so as soon as I have something worth posting about that I'll do it... So far I've only got an octo cone skimmer pre-order to speak of :-P

Anyway, Reeferhead- Any particular reason you don't want the hammertone? It's the very best reflector material out there right now, even better than the smooth stuff.

Panaboy- Sounds good man- I'll count you in for a sheet...

GD- Works for me :-) I wouldn't necessarily call it "running" a DIY though...I don't even have a tank setup at the moment. It would be cool to build a few though.

I knew that... I was talkin about GD. He has been lurkin to much as well. I'm gonna drag Tommy Gibbons outta the house one of these days and capture Dallas. Then we just might be back to normal for a good night of laughs.

if you need someone to be in for the last reflector I'm in. otherwise I would love to watch and get ideas for when I'm ready.

Okay so don't call it running one, you did a pretty god job of showing everyone the mesh-wheel mod though.

Dennis- had the summer off work so didn't have time to kill in front of the computer as much. :D
Just finishing up our 1st week back and once I get these new kids in shape I will be able to hang out on here a little more.

Ken,

I thought the opposite was true but for my application I don't think its going to make a difference so put me down for a sheet regardless

Thanks

OK...Well it looks like we have 3 takers for the other 3 sheets. I was thinking about ordering in about a week or so. That sound good?

Never tried to make anything like this. Kentrob since your our resident expert what do you think? Could this be made to work with DE bulbs and hold glass?
