So a while back we used to do weekly photo contests. I'd like to see if we can get this going again. For those that weren't around, here are the rules.

One pic per username.
Pics are posted between Friday evening and Sunday till 5 eastern time.
There are no rules on the pics themselves. You may use Photoshop, HDR, Iphone, P&S pics or anything else you may have to complete the image. The only real rule is all of the image must be done and taken by you. Thinking outside the box is part of what this is about. The rest is learning what can be done with a camera. No subjects will require any special equipment. Just use that gray stuff above your shoulders.

No pics are to be posted yet, though you may start figuring what you would like to do. I will start a thread around 8 pm on Friday for a place to post the pics. You'll have till Sunday as said before.

First subject: wet

If you think you'd like to give it a shot, post an "I'm In" in this thread. This game is to help new photographers learn and get old photographers to remember why we do this. it's all in good fun. Remember the rules of RC. They all still apply here.

I'm in! Finally got my tripod and other cool attachments.

Question about the theme "wet" Does it have to be under water or can it be anything that is wet?

Either, or it doesn't matter. Thing is to think outside the box. With this being a fish forum, that would be something everybody should be able to come up with. Be inventive. Be different.

I'm in. I think this will be a good exercise for me as I have only recently become interested in photography. I will have to see just how "outside the box" I get. The creative aspect of photography is still difficult for me.

Look at these. This was from when we did it before. It may give you some ideas.

Come on people, join in!!!!

Thanks for bringing this back Jesse. I'd love to play but my schedule has changed and I don't have anywhere near the free time I used to. I hope this regains popularity. It's a good exercise.
