or information? i have a couple questions cant find too many answer for.

ok i got a hi fin goby and a pistol shrimp. shrimp didnt make it fish is doing good.

can i get more then one pistrol? candy strip perferred
can i get another hi fin?

maybe have a couple of each in my nano.

i'm trying to find out about the high fin too. I think they're territorrial. If they can change sex when young then maybe you can get a smaller high fin and pair them off. If they don't do this, then they may not like sharing the space in a nano.

What other name does the "candy cane" pistol shrimp go by? If it's from the Atlantic, then it most likely won't pair off with the shrimp, in fact it may eat it. If the shrimp is from the pacific, then it will have a better chance of being paired off with the goby. I think though that an article online (reefkeeping) provided an example of a shrimp that will naturally pair up with the goby.

I have a "candy stripe" pistol shrimp, Alpheus randalli - Randall's Pistol Shrimp. He has lived in my tank for almost 2 years without a goby or symbiotic relationship with any other watcher. I have ordered a high fin red banded goby from my LFS but has yet to be ordered, 3 weeks and still waiting on the LFS.

I have read that the (Stonogobiops nematodes) High Fin Goby is commonly found with (Alpheus randalli) in the wild.

They are really cool shrimp, but I never see him, only hear him :)
