A week ago I bought a beautiful GMC who is now in quarantine. I had no plans to buy a nem as the fish was going into a FOWLR. Yesterday I stopped a another LFS and there was one of the prettiest condys I have ever seen. I know that this nem isn't a host but I thought I would give it a try. The owner assured me the my clown wouldn't have anything to do with it. I put it in the quarantine tank and by this morning that fish was as snug as a bug in a rug in that condy . I try to get a pic later.

these two were together for 2 years before i had to break down the tank...

That's one big plus for GSM's is they pretty much rush straight to a host.
I'm sure it will be fine and adapt well to that nem.
Other fish around may be another story, once in a great while I'll see a fish that got too close shoot off across tank, a condy could have more harsh results, but like I said it doesn't happen often, most fish seem to know to stay away.
