AOGs vs. Armageddon vs. Devil Armor?

I bought these a couple of years ago as Dragon's Armour. They're a little paler than I'd like, but the growth has been good. I started with three polyps (at $65), and have two largish colonies.

exactly, nuuze, i think i have DAs as i don't have the striations like the AOGs have. Are those yours? if so, very nice...

they're sweet dude, i'm totally jealous, did you get them as a frag or colonay? How has the growth been? any tips to grow faster?thanks, dave

Got them as a couple heads/frag. I always left them on the bottom untouched. They grow quite quick for me. Once they run out of frag disk or rock to grow on they will start growing outward and detaching. I had them under 400w halides at one time, now 250w halides with lots of flow. Currently they are in my 16g mantis/quarantine tank due to a recent tank move and they seemed to do just as well under 4 T5's.

No, I don't spot feed, just feed fish every other day and water changes once a week. I got them several years ago.

Nice, they all look the same, i have no idea what mine are, im not going to jack prices anyways so ill just name them when i go to sell.. i get around 4-5 polyps per month....

Are all 3 of these(AOGs, Armageddens, and Devil's Armor) red? do any of them come in orange or pink? I have a frag of AOGs(I was told) that are red and I have another frag that looks exactly the same but it's pink. Could they be AOGs also? I am just a rookie too, and new too zoos.

pretty sure there are other types that look like these, but are different colors, i'm sure there are different shades of red on these guys too depending on lighting... check this site, it's where i go for IDs first: www.zoaid.com HTH
