What type of signal that is coming out of the variable ports?

Is it digital or is it just 0-10V?

Good luck! One word of caution if you are designing circuitry - the VS ports can only handle a load of 18-20 milliamperes. Keep a close eye on the load/impedance of the dimming control input of your driver.
