Apex and DHCP

Hi there,

I am using a DIR-655 as wireless routher, a DAP-1522 and a DAP-2553 as a wireless client. No matter what configuration I use, the local network can not see the apex. And worse yet, DHCP does not work. I have to access apex as a stativ 192.168.0.200 and then acess it as 192.168.0.50.

I can only see the apex if I make my laptop to be a client of the 1522 ...

what am I doing wrong?

Ok, I have a DIR-655 as my main router. No security or any other special settings on that router as I live in the middle of the woods.

I bouth a DAP-1522 and I got it configured so that my computer can access the internet through it as a wireless bridge /client. Things are "good". When I plug in the Apex it seems to work but only in the static IP adress configuration.

The router 655 can ping the apex even on that static ip, however any computer or my ipad can not reach the apex ...

So how does the 2553 fit in?
Is the 1522 a client of the 655 or the 2553?
I need to have a good understanding of the physical topology you are using, and the associated IP addressing in order to help.

In both the 1522 & the 2553, there is a feature called WLAN Partition; there are two options - both options should be set to 'Allow' on both devices.
