Apex Controller - Wireless?

We have an Apex Controller that runs a lot of our equipment. I wanted to set it up so we can access it via the internet and cell phone. Does any one know if you just add a wireless router to it or what is all required for it?

They have a App for that, either Iphone Itouch or Ipad.

The name of the app is Aquanotes, I have it on my iPhone. You will have to have dns forwarding to use it outside of home with the iPhone. Works great.

But do I need to hook a router to the Apex I assume? Is that all I need to get the signal going?

I went to the library and payed 15 bucks to have it printed much easier for me to turn pages and work on the unit.

If you have internet, you can wire it directly using an ethernet cable. This is the easiest way to do it because it requires very little to set it up before it is ready to go.

If you already have wireless, you can get a game adaptor to plug into the Apex controller that will make it wireless. Might require some setup to get it working properly, though.

If you don't have wireless yet, you need to buy a wireless router and a gaming adaptor. The wireless router will set up your wireless network and the gaming adaptor will allow your Apex to contact your wireless network.

yes.. its in the market.

Yes aquanotes the same as the iPhone app. However if you have a decent android like a EVO the standard login page is just as good. See below.

Tried to dl aquanotes for Android and got a message that the ap is no longer available from the Android store.

how good is the wireless next to a hard wire ? It is going to be hard for me to run a hard wire to my apex . Have same problem hope others will help

I am using a wireless game adapter the netgear wnce2001 it works great very fast

Wirelessly it works just fine, however it is not recommended to flash update it wirelessly.
