APEX email setup...Help!

nice nice, port forwarding can be a pain if you've never done it before but once its done and you have a service to refresh your IP your golden. If you still need the help man, monday im avail from 11 to 2. I have to work this weekend unfortunately.

You cannot use Yahoo to send emails out from Apex. They don't allow you to send emails unless you are on they're website. Do you have an email account with your Internet Service Provider? Who is your provider?

Yes I have an email account with Yahoo. Yahoo is my ISP. From what I read on the Neptune forum AT&T Yahoo will work with the Apex.

They use secure authentication to send out emails, you won't be able to use them because Apex does not support secure authentication. Check out some of the suggestions for other smtp services that have been mentioned in this thread.

Good luck I just gave up trying I will wait until fusion is out. Heck I tried just updating my firmware and missed a step and almost erased my whole apex from existence.

Friendly reminder to backup up your programming. This way you can restore from previous backups in case this happens.

From your yahoo email address
To email address that you want it sent
Alt. to: email address that you want it sent
Re-email delay(minutes) (ok with this one)
Email authentication enable
User name...(ok with this one)
User password...(ok with this one)
Email test...I assume this is checked off after you have all setting in place to see if you got it right. This will check off once you run the test.
