Apex FMM anyone? New Apex commands too.

The FMM and optical sensors seem like a real no brainer in terms of using it as an ATO and water change controller. Anyone try it yet? This might knock the Colley method out as top ATO/change method. Also optical sensors will be real nice to monitor low fluid conditions in general. Easy to clean periodically and not prone to getting gunked up like mechanical floats.

Also as an fyi there are new commands to use in the Apex which would work nicely with the ATO/change function:

It'd be a nice toy to add to my Apex, but my Tunze 3155 has been flawless for me for a very long time. Interested the learn more about the waterchange capabilities, tho.

I bought the FFM, but for use with the flow sensors rather than the optical ones. I'm quite happy with my avast pressure ATO sensor. I do think I will end up with a second FFM, because I would like to use optical sensors to trigger certain conditions where floats don't really work. The new 'when' commend does seem useful, though I always swallow hard every time I have to do a firmware update.
