Is there a site, book, PDF etc that clearly explains the different levels of Neptune Apex and all the modules available for it?
I have a Kessil 360WE. I kind of want a Maxpect gyre (but am thinking of alternatives that don't need the icecap - which is necessary to use the gyre, yes?). I'd like the apex to do automatic pH, salinity and temperature monitoring (though I plan to keep test kits as a back up, esp. for these three).
I think the apex for me is the full $800 apex system, plus the VDM module and icecap if I want to do timed changes to both light intensity/color and pump strength/nature.
(with the full apex, I still need those controllers, right?).
(I looked at the Jr and the classic and it seems that I'd start adding too many modules to those that I might as well just get the full one. And there goes $1000).
Anyway, the apex looks like a great idea to me. Hobbyist fishkeeping has finally entered the 21st century and I can automatically watch things from afar and program them work on whatever time schedules I like.
