Apex in Europe

I saw a show where you were telling the apex was comming to Europe.

Are there any shops that sell them, or is there anywhere i can get the EU prices. (preferably in the Netherlands)?

I think Neptune is still working on distributor agreements for Europe.

Currently the EB6 which is the 230v version of the energy bar is in final testing but hasn't been released yet. Also, I believe that initially it will be in a UK plug version although I'm sure you can get adapters to fit.

Terence may have more updated information.

Releasing it in the UK is stupid (imho) since using the European plug is way cheaper since it can be used on continental Europe.

I would use the UK version only if the EU plugs would fit the power bar since i'm not going to place all power plug on an adaptor.

OK, I hope it will be ready next year.

I've waited one year for 220V version... now I've my Apex for two years

What Alan said above is correct. We are working diligently and are in the final stages of testing on the EB6 you saw in the video interview I gave at MACNA. It will be a 240V UK-plug/receptacle version (we have our reasons which we will not disclose - sorry for those that were hoping we would have European continent version first). Our plan, barring any major issues in this final testing, is to release it to the UK market before the end of the year. Following that, our target for the European version (and possibly others) will be Q1/2013.

Thanks. What are you using your Apex for? It seems 500 W are few for all the equipment.
Also do you have pumps, heater and so on rated at 110v?
Or how have you connected everything?

Hi,
I've few equipment on Apex : Calcium reactor, ATO system, fans, tunze pumps, leds drivers.

Trick is that tunze pumps and leds drivers are on 220V. Only the control (0-10V) Is connected on Apex ;-)

I don't use it for skimmer and heating.
