Getting ready to set up my apex. System is in the basement. Going to run it thru a wireless gaming adapter. Will I have a stronger/more reliable signal with a 25ft cable run and the signal going about 30ft thru three walls, or with with a 50ft cable run along the floor joists and mount the adapter pretty much 6 or so feet underneath the router?

If you are going that far why not just run it directly to your router and save the wireless unit. Even more reliable.

I have gotten rid of my wireless adapter as it kept messing up and leaving me blind on fusion. I hard wired it and am very happy that I have.
I may have to rethink this. I am definitely not the most tech-savvy. And I already have enough headaches.

So the product I linked is still considered to be wireless? The description reads as if it is the same as being hardwired, using the existing AC lines

it would work, but i would still recommend drilling a hole and hardwiring it directly.

you are saving yourself from drilling but at the expense of adding in another point of failure for additional cost.

Not so worried about drilling, more about the better half noticing I'm drilling and wanting to know why......
Point taken. Thanks

Ya, I did the initial startup hardwired.
Thinking it'll be in my best interest to wait till i get the unit hardwired to the basement before I hook it up to the tanks.
