API Copper test problem?

So i have been treating with Kordon copper aid.

I tested water today and test was a yellow shade however the test indicator chart does not have yellow it goes from white to pale peachish tan to darker tan. Anyone else have this problem?

Are you looking at the test from straight down the tube?

Reread the directions. You have to look down the test tube

I am looking straight down the tube. I can take a picture when i get home

Before anyone asks. yes my tank is saltwater 1.025, i followed instructions added 5ml of water shook the test bottled turned over and added 10 full drops shook the test tube and waited 1 minute to take the picture.

I meant put the tube over each color and look straight down to match it up that way. These tests are difficult to read at best even under ideal settings

got you yea at best it might be 0.25 but that is best case as it doesnt really match that. and i added a the recommended amount it was still clearso i kept adding alittle bit more until it hit yellow

Go slow and if your fish stop eating then I would stop adding copper even if you aren't to the level you want

i did the recommended amount the first day and it stayed clear. i continued to added roughly half dose every other - every 3 days until it hit yellow. That being said I just lost the fish today. He was never eating from the day I got him and then he came down with Ich. Kind of upset but not sure what else i could have done.
