Apisto's Shallow Deep-waters

Been a little while since posting and I wanted to get a couple of pics of my placement ignorance.

This is a collision of the bases of Joe's Rainbow and Vivid's Rainbow Delight.

This one is really interesting. It is the Diabolic Pacman and Oregon Tort. Their mingling is apparently creating a mixture of the 2 with the DP winning by a nose. I am pretty tempted to cut a bit of this connection, mount it and see what happens. Anyway, I really thought I put these far enough apart. I guess I didn't completely have faith in the fact I would keep everything alive and healthy this long:eek1:

Nice stuff Neil.. that OT and DP collision looks amazing.....

Thanks Mike. Yah, it looks like a combination of the 2 bases with a blue OT structure coming out of the middle and numerous yellow DP corallite tips w/ red polyps growing nearby. It is pretty crazy.:wildone:

Sweet update. Love the health and colour of your acros. Awesome work man. :)

Thanks, man. Really appreciate it, especially from someone who is quite an accomplished reefer!!

Looking good! Hopefully they just kinda draw a line between each other! Who've chalice is that?

Hey Dwayne:wave: That is a frag from my Rainbow Crush chalice. After fragging yours, I didn't like the way it looked, so I cut it up into several frags. I am letting them grow out and then will choose the one that I like best for myself.

How are your tank and corals doing? Haven't heard fromm you for awhile.

Whats the coral on the top pic? Love how there is a blue-green growth ring on that.

Poison Ivy. It's pretty cool, but unfortunately it is exceptionally slow-growing. There are a few very small blueish branches just starting to pop out of the pink base. So, it is definitely testing my patience, because I want to see more:bigeyes:

Some lush sps mate

Thanks much.

These are flat-out the bluest polyps I've ever seen on an acro. It actually makes it look very dark in the tank because the branches are so tight and polyps so dark blue, especially since it is between the bright acros in the bottom 2 pics.

Phoenix 14k MH only for the above shots.

Those are sweet blue polyps. Pulling decent colour out of the polyps is no easy feat; thats awesome man.

Hey Neil...Great eye popping stuff. What ever your doing, keep doing it. Your colors are incredible and your system looks like you really have it dialed in.
