Greetings fellow Wine Country Reefers.

The April meeting will be next Saturday, April 10 at noon at Shane's house in Petaluma. PM me or Shaneh for his address.

Shane has been working hard on setting up his new tank, complete with custom build hood and many well thought out water quality management features.

As far as food goes, we could do a potluck, a bbq or order some delivery. What are you all up for?

I realize this is two consecutive months in Petaluma. If any of you Santa Rosa area members want to invite us over to your place next month, then we can meet up there next time. And there's always the Union Hotel...

I will not be able to attend this meeting as I will be down south visiting my oldest at her college. I will make sure raffle tickets and frags make it to the meeting. And if enough people are interested let's do a frag swap too. Any particular theme this month Owen?

Looks like I may be having a meeting with myself......no, ken, tom, grant,....so who is going to make it?

I still need to do a few small things but I should get it done this week. Also i need to update the build thread. Just a bit hard to find time right now.

The good thing is I have never seen my coral with the colors they have, much better then under PC's.

If it's not too many ppl i can BBQ up some boar sausage that is really good and we can have hotdogs.
 
just curious what time were you guys thinking of meeting after 3 I could make it, hate to miss it
 
Shane I will be there let me know what to bring. Maybe we just need some tarter sauce if your temp gague fails again. It might be chromis and tang BBQ. jk:)
 
I am pretty sure I will be in the sierras this weekend with family. It is weather dependant so I may make it but most likely will not be there. Sorry Shane I really wanted to see your tank.

oh man it looks like me and Craig will be swappin frags...heck we might even go for a swim in the tank. It looks like i can provide all the food for Craig and I....hey craig would you rather have that boar sausage, wild turkey sandwhich, abalone or fried cow fish?j/k
 
bob's not gonna make either and i have a funeral to attend. i think we should skip april and pick back up next month.
 
Sadly, I cannot make it.

It worked out ok last month since Monday was a holiday, but our meetings always coincide with my publishing schedule (I write an monthly investment newsletter), and thus I don't make it as often as I used to.

Would really love to see your tank though, Shane, so make sure you're on the calendar again somewhere down the road a ways (and post some pics of the "big" meeting this weekend! :-) ).

Due to the probably low attendance, I think perhaps "postponing" the April meeting to May makes sense.

Shane, I feel bad, as you've worked very hard to get your tank together with this "deadline" looming. Would you be willing to have us all over next month?

I think the problem here is people do a lot more things on Saturdays. That is why the neetings have been on Friday nights. Saturday once in a while works,but too often doesn't work.
 
I can postpone to next month, we can do it a friday night if you guys want next month that's fine with me.....I get home at 5:30-6.
 
friday nights would work better for the most part at least for me, heck even this one haha( still wanting to see Shanes set up)
