will a mantis be okay with these little pest anemones in the tank? or do they have real potential to hurt a mantis?

If there is a tight crevas that peppermint shrimp could get to but the mantis can't get into, you may try them, to remove the pests. I had a skimmer in my mantis tank that the shrimp would hide behind during the day and come out at night. The gap between the glass and the skimmer was too narrow for the mantis to get to the shrimp.
