aqua Medic ocean runner pumps any experiences?

just wondering has anyone have experiences or heard something about the AQUA MEDIC OCEAN RUNNER pumps?

do you know where I can get a mag 9.5 repaired ( makes a lot of rattling (bearings ?) type noise )

Chuck eugene danner, the makers of Supreme, used to be located in Islip. I think they still are. In my experience when mag pumps start to make the rattling noise it usually is just the impeller.

I use on on my return chuck, so far so good , great flow , quiet not heat, and only 65W for the 900gph model. Cna't say anything about longevity at this point and it's a bit large.

Hey Chuck, I have been running the 2500 to power my skimmer for a few years now. I Have had no problems with it. I keep a spare impeller so i can swap it every 4 months or so. I let the used one sit in vinegar for a day or so and reuse it. Aquamedic is a top notch company imo. Great customer support if you need it. Mike

In my experience they usually stand by their products especially for local consumers so if it actually needs new bearings they might repair it for free or a negligable amount.
