I have been tweeking my feeding, 80% of my gorgonians are staying open all day. Above is a picture of my favorite gorgonian. It is a white with red polyp West African Echinogorgia sp.

Aquabacs your tank is looking really sweet , quick question can those star fish survive in a reef tank just wondering?

They will survive in a reef tank but it is recommended that they receive 24 hour continuous feeding.

Thanks for the quick reply they sound very demanding.

Actually, it really isn't any more demanding than keeping any other type of reef tank really. Just time, patience and observation. Crinoid feeding demands fall within line same guidelines as my gorgonians and other Azoo corals, so it really isn't any extra work.

Awesome snag Mike!

That's one amazing fish and will add another amazing specimen to this tank

Thanks Austin! When I saw this fish last year for the first time, I knew this was the fish for my tank. They haven't shipped any into the country from Australia for over a year and was excited when two were received by a certain wholesaler. I have been tracking the two the wholesaler brought in this year (fish stalking) and who they were sold to. Live Aquaria and Greenwich Aquaria both received one. The one at Greenwich Aquaria, Jason sold before it ever hit the store. Actually the person who bought it is the same person that bought the one that came in last year. Now for the one at Live Aquaria picked up, it was a waiting game. Waiting to see if they were going to sell it or hold onto it. When I found out it was going up for sale last night, I did everything in my power to make sure I got it. Actually I was joking earlier that it was either a new macro lens for my camera or this fish....I picked the fish :) Looks like I am going to have to rent a lens to take a picture of it. That's my fish story.

The picture does not do this fish justice. It has beautiful yellow markings all over the lower half of it's face and is an amazing fish. Took a quick picture with my point and shoot. Once I get my new lens in for my camera I will shoot a few.
