Aquabacs' Cadlights Artisan 50 Azooxanthellae Tank build

Thanks guys!

I am curious how long it is going to take for the West African gorgonians to grow back completely. I will be target feeding them directly by the missing areas to help with their re-growth.

I've never seen ones like that before... cool colors! That white gorg is still my favorite :)

I believe they are Mopsella sp.

There are so unbelievably bright in person, they almost look fake. The white gorg is beautiful, especially when every polyp is open. The next video I want to take is of that one. It just has been camera shy the last couple of days.

Today I have joined the Distichopora club :) I was able to pick one up at a very reasonable price and I will embark on the journey with you guys in keeping this interesting species. Not the color I was searching for but can't have enough blue in a non-photosynthetic aquarium. While it is acclimating right now, I will take initial measurements of the Distichopora to see in the upcoming months if growth is shown. Any information I can share and learn on this coral will be posted within this thread.

GL with the new coral Mike, I love, love, love 'em!

That is an awesome pic above as well... lock your doors bud, otherwise you might wake up to that coral missing :D

Come on by, I will be able to test out my Mossberg Aquarium Security System ;) Hopefully to upgraded to a Benelli M4 Super 90 just in case I have multiple people trying to take corals.

Congrates and welcome. Lets see if we can get these to live. First we have to positively find out what they eat.

+1 on the live part :) I will start with the basics on feeding and then if need be, hit the Japanese market for some unusual stuff to throw in the blender.
