Anyone use these I see alot of advantages to one large filter media access upflow bottom to top for PO4 removal media and great flow across surface of tank and can easily be cleaned without nitrate production and are low profile on back of tank.

When I first started in the hobby (freshwater) these were my filters of choice. They are very reliable, I have never seen one fail.
They have a large area for media and are unstoppable.
For a HOB filter I think they are the best.
Any media used will need to rinsed every week to 10 days or it will produce nitrates just like bio-balls.
