Aquaconnect MH Bulbs

HI,
We always get conflicting info about these bulbs. They told us a few months a while back, something to do with a big fish convention in germany or something. Then they told me they would be able to fill our backorders in a few weeks, that was about 10 days ago. So far as we know we are on track for a couple weeks, but they could change there story again.
If we hear something different i'll post it on the board. We do not want to mislead anyone, we are just relaying what we are told.
If you can't wait, i think the AB20k is a really close looking bulb to the AC brand. I've tried every 250watt DE on my tank and the 20K AB and 14K AC i thought looked really close. I didn't get to break the AC in though, only ran it a few hours. I'm not a huge heavy blue fan though, so i've switched to the 14K hamilton DE which is more white then blue.

rahre1 - You won't be dissapointed with the bulb. I had been waiting since January for the bulb to come into the US and it was well worth it.

Ya Chris, I am psyched, but I have sold my entire 75g sps tank and am downsizing to a 25g SPS and a separate 15g zoo tank. It's gonna be crowded! The buyer of the 75 is picking it up memorial day weekend, which means I need to cycle and "mature" the new tank really fast. I will be moving a lot of the rock and a bunch of my sandbed, which will dramatically speed up the maturity, but still GOTTA have LIGHT!
Thanks for the boost of intestinal fortitude. I will post thoughts and tank picks when it is all set up. Bye the way, I went with the Iwasaki 50k for the zoo tank. Any thoughts on that? I hear it has a really pleasing color. The tank is only 12" deep, with a sandbed, so it should be fun to do.

I couldn't wait, which bums me out. I had to cancel the AC14k order today because it could be mid-May before they arrive. Instead I went with a BLV 20k, which, according to several posts, seems to have a similar and very pleasing white/blue color. I love P.Aquat's, but will have to buy that AC next time around.

Well, all is not lost. I "had" to go with a BLV 20k for my SPS tank, which I am just getting set up today.... not moving coral for a few weeks.
WOW!!!! the color is incredible right now (pure bright white with the impression of about 4 VHO actinics a little higher off the water than the halide).
I did get my hands on a DE 150w 14K AquaConnect for my zoanthid tank. It will arrive this week. Actually had the 150's in stock. I can't wait JellyTheory!
