Aquaforest Magnesium Test Kit confusion

Why is the amount of drops of Bottle A dependent on Calcium levels? If I do the full 5 drops my MAG shows as 1440 but if I do 4 drops since calcium is 350 it shows MAG as 1170…..Salifert shows 1420.

Anyone can share your expertise? Seems annoying

I don't think it's dependent, I think it's a quick starting point instead of doing a drop @ a time starting from 1.

This brings up a conversation from long ago. I forget why but the test kit was eliminating calcium interference in the test. I think in the long run people stuck with the simpler test kits.
