Pulled the caulerpa well what I could get.
Mag was 9 something last test I have never needed to dose.


I have been told to I have to nuke my take to get rid of the turf algae, yet I have also been told it will go away...
I most likely will nuke the tank but I really really don't want to

Wait, Mg is in the 900's?!?!? You most definitely need to dose. Get that to at least 1250. A little higher would be even better, but try not to exceed 1500. Don't raise by more than 100ppm per day. I'd get the Mg up, then see what happens to the turf. How ofter do you do WC's and with what salt? While we're at it, what's your full list of parameters?

Wait my bad I was thinking ALK for some reason I don't have a Mg test.
I use reef crystals I do a bucket a week for WC. I can do a list of tests tonight after work.

Wadda ya have for snails? I see Ceriths , have you tried Nerites or red banded Trochus snails? The only algae I can't seem to control with these is green hair algae.

I don't have any snails actually.. Well I have those ones that come out at night and there shells look like thumbnails I forget what they are called but I have tons of them

Nope lol. But I took my skimmer apart and cleaned it

Do I need to kill the sand too ?

You won't want to do that...just skim the top to remove a bit so you get to a more consistent shallower depth and perform a light vacuum. You'll need that bacteria to re-colonize your rock when it's re-introduced, netting a shorter cycle. The hefty water change that you'll perform in the process will drastically reduce nutrients and give you a good baseline going forward. With your improved feeding habits and water change schedule you will be good to go.
On a side note now would also be a good starting point for the use of bio-pellets in your media reactor otherwise good ole Chemi-pure would not be a bad idea.
Do I need to make another trip over there?
