I just checked my perams everything is in check except for magnesium and calcium they are both low Ca is around 250 and Mg is around 500. What would be the best way to raise these up to 450 for Ca and 1100 for Mg? Any advice would be much apreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

Oh really I thought that they wernt reef safe. Thats cool though!
Yeah, I would really like a bigger tank, I wish I could have gotten a 120 but it would have costed 1k more just for the tank stand and canopy. Thanks!
A 120 long or a breeder? Im planning on getting a breeder tank 120 with in the next year or 2. Hopfully i'll be able to grow it out completely with acro.

ya thats the breeder tank. I like the depth that it gives you to work with. I plan on making a channel through the center and a tank like that would let me do it without making it look stupid, Its just something that doesnt look very good on a 18'' tank as it would leave you with no space at the front of the tank.

I would actually like to take tanks like that and have it be a 48"x24"x48 I think that that would be a cool tank. I love to aquascape deep tanks. I'm excited to see the thread on your new 120

Yeah they really are.

Does anyone have any insight on how to raise my calcium and magnesium levels? For calcium I am dosing kalk for top off water.

Anything else i can do to raise it?

Thanks
Matt

Alright I might try that, but my Magnesium is also low which buffers calcium to keep it up so I'm not really looking to just raise calcium. For a calcium product I am using Tropic-Marin Bio-Calcium. Any reviews on this product.

Also is there any way to raise magnesium with out using the chemical?

Thanks
Matt
