Aquamaxx co-1 sold out- suggestions?

have a 90g reef and am in need of a new skimmer. I had ordered the co-1 from an online retailer and was told that it was be available end of April. Then spoke to owner and was told beginning of July. Spoke to him again a few days ago and now says that the shipment isn't coming and he has no idea if or when one will come through. I have not been able to find either the Aquamaxx or JNS cone skimmer anywhere. Has anyone seen them available online?? Even a used one? I know marine depot says in 6-8 weeks, but I really cant wait that long. So, since it looks like this will not end up happening, what skimmer would you recommend? I have a budget of no more than $300 and my sump space is a bit limited, maxing out at 9.25" x 10.5" no taller than 20.75".

Look into the Bubble Magus Curve line up. I like mine and a lot of others will say the same. Price is very fair.

Thanks. I have hears seaside aquatics is the same but with a better pump - any truth to that? Anyone have experience with RLSS or Skimz?

I would wait it out. I have a Co-3 and it was well worth the 4-6 week wait.

dotkat - If I had enough room, I would have purchased a co-2, but I am pretty limited with space. I need the co-1/sk 1, but that model is sold out everywhere I have checked (including bigals). Thanks though

I would wait the 4-6 weeks if I had only recently been without one. It has been since March/April that I have been without a skimmer and the extra water changes are taking their toll.

Any thoughts/experience with RLSS or Skimz? Are the aquamaxx THAT much better?
