what is the benefit of dry vs wet? If I've read the countless threads on it, wet pulls out more water, but also more nutrients. Dry pulls out larger particles and has less of an impact on salinity (though I don't see how the amount of water collected would impact salinity that much).
If I have understood, we try to strive for a mix of dry/wet, which would put the break line...about at the bottom of the lettering.
Essentially, if my nitrates are manageable, say, 20-30ppm (no corals or even fish at this point, just inverts), not only is there nothing to skim, but does it matter where I have the bubbles breaking at this point? All I'm really skimming out would be nitrates.
