AquaMedic Nano Wave

Has anyone used the new AquaMedic 9 gallon Nano Waves? Is it possible to remove the stock pump and replace it with another?

I want to get one for dwarf seahorses but I need to replace the pump with a MUCH lower GPH pump, 32 GPH to be exact.
