I'm trying to run Aguanotes on a older AST laptop running XP SP2 with all the latest patches. I'm running as a service under the administrator account and I also have the web enabled.
Every once and a while i get the following 2 messages pop-ups.
AquaTCPServer: Run-time error "40006"; Wrong protocol or connection state for the requested transaction or request.
Followed by;
AquaNotes: Run-time error '440'; Automation error.
When I hit "OK" to the AquaNotes automation error the box closes, but when i hit "OK" to the AquaTCPServer error Aquanotes closes and I have to restart it. Then when I try to reconnect I'll get "Aquacontroller Not Responding" message. I checked the Windows Event Viewer and found that the AquaNotes service terminated unexpectedly so I restart the service an then im ok again for a while.
Any ideas?
Edit: I should also mention that I'm using this to monitor a ACIIIPro. Both the laptop and the ACIIIPro are on the same 192.168.1.x subnet and plugged into the same switch.
Edit2: Also, when Aquanotes crashes you can still view the ACIIIPro's stats via IE so I don't think theres a problem with the ACIIIPro.
