Aquanotes question

In order to access the controler either to program and monitor system status (eg. temp water levels ect) from an internet browser, Do I need Aquanotes for that? Is there a GUI when logging into the controler?

Also, does the controler have to be permanently connected to a computer running 24/7 or does the controler connect directly to a router?

What controller do you have?

If you have ACII, then the answer to both questions is yes. You need Aquanotes to access the controller from computer and yes, you need to have the controller plugged to computer 24/7.

If you have the ACIII/Pro then no. You can access the controller directly from your PC and all you need to do is connect the controller to your router via ethernet. ACIII/Pro has an enbedded webserver so Aquanotes is not necessary for online access.

Perfect.... It looks like I need to get the ACIII PRO becasue I dont nessesarily want to have a computer running 24/7 just to access the controler from the internet..
