Hi Brett tank looks good..the Borbonius looks alittle beat up and I only saw one PQ were they fighting?....my male killed off my female and really grew alot. It's become a pretty tough fish fighting with my Lyretails and Bartletts.

Hi RN, thanks man. Yeah the muelleri is my baby. I have no complaints with the T5s, I really do love em.

Hi Mike. The Borb has something going on with his fins. I'm not sure what's going on or how to treat it to be honest. I havent noticed any aggression at all. As far as the PQs go I'm down to one. The male got all weird one day and hid in the rocks all the time. The females got along great but one reverted back to not eating much and slowly withered away after being put in the display. The last one is solid though and eats everything. If only I could have five just like her.

Hey Brett thanks for posting the video and the tank looks fantastic  love the aquascape. Plenty of room for the fish to swim around and nice structure for them to weave around and through.

Hi Dan, thanks for all the nice comments. I've had a rough year so far as far as fish go. I'm 0 for 3 and haven't had one make it through QT. im just gonna take it easy for a while and get some small issues taken care of with algae and such. How's everything going on your end lately? Hope all is well.

Loving the vid Bro! I am such fan of that Butterfly...BEAUTIFUL. Also, this video gave me a much better angle on your aquascape.. Really looking forward to the continued success of this tank. I think it will be one of the great ones!

As for the fish... Dude, it happens no matter how many precautions we take. I still say go through the precautions! LOL.... Don't pick up my bad habits. LOL!!!

I'm currently on another CBB. He's a great picker and he's eating, but he's developed something funky looking on his rear fin, but otherwise looks really healthy..wish me luck!

Thanks Jon, I regard that comment very highly coming from you, your tank has been a favorite of mine for a long time.

I think the biggest lesson I learned was not to put all my eggs in one basket, I lost three of my dream fish cause I had them all in QT at the same time. All it takes is one sick one. Live and learn I guess.

Good luck with the Copperband, they're amazing fish. Try some minced scallop, they love it along with any kind of worm. Thanks again buddy.

I hear ya about having a tough year with the tank. I've had 2 flame wrasses, a labouti and and esquisite wrasse all not make it though QT over the last 6 months. It's times like that where I start to doubt QTing...that being said I've not lost a fish out of the display either (knock on wood). As far as my display, it looks like crap, green algae, bubble algae, cyano, bryopsis I've got it all right now. Just trying to battle through it.

Sweet project, current i have a 150gal freshwater but getting a 220 in the next 4 weeks and cant decide if i should do the move but seeing threads like this may help me make my mind up

Hopefully we can both turn it around. I can't wait to start seeing some nice pics out of you again. Hang in there man, you'll be back to your former self in no time.

Once you go salt you'll never go back. Thanks for stopping in. Let me know when you get things going, best of luck with your project.

Hi Brett,
You did point out an important factor here bout QT...one gets sick in QT the other too get it...
I guess the ideal way of QT is one at a time or multiple smaller tanks...easier said than done i guess coz of cost and space requirements :hammer:

But sometimes really hard to resist when we see a dream coral or fish, we have to get it...and though we know we already have a fish in QT we still get this new comer and put him in the same QT with optimism and wishful thinking. And when things go wrong, we are sad and upset and vowing never to do this again. But it does happen again....Proving once again we are only human :uhoh2:
I am guity of this....not always...but sometimes

Wishing you all the best and hope you get everything in control, we all know you will coz of your dedication. I am sure its just a passing phase.

Thanks RN, yeah sometimes it's hard. Patients is always the best tool we have in this hobby and sometimes we learn hard lessons.
