Aquaph8's 225 Build

Here is a few pics since I havent updated in a while. The lights were ramping down so its a little more blue than normal. Sorry if its a little out of focus.

Hi Brett,
Did ya do a rescape?
Beautiful pink colour on the coral in the second pic. Pink
is a color I'm struggling with in my reef.
What species is that one? Love the growth pattern on it :)
Must be such a great sight seeing those wrasses darting around!!

Hi RN, how you been. I didn't reshape really, just added a little rock here and there and I knocked some stuff over once and it changed a little when I put it back. That is Red dragon in that pic. I love my wrasses, such cool little fish.

Hi Brett,
Thanks bro....I'm doing okay :) and am
Still pulling along with my reef.
Oh yes the red dragon!!! A beautiful SPS.
It's high on my wish list and I am hunting for it.
Yours looks really beautiful...like a center piece!

Wow, has it really been since October? Not too much has changed but there are a few new fish Ill catch up on.

Aussie Copperband

Regal from Fiji

And a Bicolor Foxface

Brett, it is GREAT to see that Regal in there! The tank looks great and that Red Dragon has grown like a weed!

-M&T

Thanks M&T, that red dragon is such a fast grower. The regal has adjusted to the display great. I removed the Lavender tang before adding the new guys, still debating on whether to let him come back or not.

Beautiful additions. I love the AussieCBB! I wish I could have one in my setup.

Thanks Wade, the Chelmon butterflies will always be my favorite.

Looking good Brett!

Jeff

Thanks Jeff, how's the new tank doing?

Tank is beautiful. Love the RD and the aussie CBB. Did you special order that fish because I am looking for its cousin.

Thanks Wayne, the CB came from Bluezoo a while back and has been in QT a few months. He took some training to learn to eat and is still a work in progress after going to the DT.

Your reef is very charming!
Big and beautiful corals you have!
Keep up the great work!
Good luck!

Thanks so much for the awesome compliments.

Tank is coming along nicely some stuff is doing better than old tank and some not so much. I am trying to figure out flow patterns that make all my SPS happy and that is a little challenging with the 30" compared to the 24 on my old tank.

Been a while, figured I'd say hi to everyone. Things are well. I stopped dosing kalk about two months ago, just couldn't keep up with it and stability was suffering. With the larger colonies taking over Im calling it quits on adding corals, I have a few on my rack that I have no idea where to put but after those Im stocked. Regal and copperband are well and QTs are full as always. I have a few more fish in mind after these guys and I'm gonna call it stocked in that regard too. Lately I've been spending my time in the garage working on my old Chevy truck, I've missed working cars and my kids are finally getting old enough I can break away a bit. Hope everyone is well!

Glad to see you back Brett. Beautiful pics and those fish are beautiful in your display. So the regal is being picky in the DT? How long did it take to eat before moving it into the DT? Was the Aussie CBB the same?
