Aquapod 12G /w 70W MH light

Hi,
I receive the aquapod 12G /w the 70W MH today. The plastic trim on top scratch pretty good. It looks a bit better after I clean it.

The light fan is very noise. It makes more noise than a 12" fan I got from Target. Is it normal??

Hello,

Thank you for your post, noise is a very suggestive subject, a lot depends on the location of your aquarium and the acoustics of the surrounding areas. The fans on the unit will make a slight hum while in operation. If the fan is making a loud noise that does not sound normal I would check to make sure that nothing has gotten caught in the blades of the fan or constricting the air flow.

Hi Walter,
I talked to one of your tech yesterday and he will send me the replacement fan.

I have/had a lot of equipment and none of them making this much noise. If I can hear the noise from 15' away from a 2" fan, something is not right.
