Aquapod 24-glass or acrylic?

Silly question, I just assumed the Aquapod was acrylic because of the bent corners. However, I read an e-bay item saying it was bent glass. Does anyone know for sure, and what difference does it make? Is there anything I should or shouldn't do because of the answer?

glass. easier to clean I think doesnt scratch so easily

Don't know why, I just assumed they were acrylic. Didn't know they could bend a glass tank like that.

I have the aquapod 12 and love that it's glass, although I have never owned an acrylic tank yet.

Yes, the Aquapod is glass. I have the 24 Gallon. I love it. I just used an old credit card to clean the stubborn algae off my tank this morning. This was a trick I learned thanks in part to the owner of Coral Dynamics, here in NC. Now, of course if the Aquapod was made of acrylic, you could not use the credit card technique to clean it b/c it would scratch. The technique works just like the other algae scrappers you can buy in the store, but in this case it is free.

Great idea! Now if I can just get my hubby's card away from him it'll be a free algae scraper AND save me a ton of money!!
