Aquarium Lab LPS Nano Reef

Yes, the blue light work very well here. I own a lfs in sao paulo, brazil, and my frag tank is under blue and royal blue only since october 2011.
Here it is, the pics was taken under whites, but I never turn it on:

It looks great! I was meaning a test group of corals that stay in place...for example if you were to grow a chalice coral under actinic only for 6 months how would it do...the ones in our test nanos start receding tissue after a few months

Since your corals are sold/rotated its hard to know how long they could go?

brandon, I can tell you that they get a little more color than after they get there.
But I am sure that the AI cannot hold the red color for most corals. They get orange after a couple of weeks. But they still grow nicely.
Anyway, I agree that a well done experiment would be great! For my experience with LPS I would say that LED with a couple of T5 will do the best in color..

I'm about to switch to LED just about everyone has...checking these recent posts for color and yours is tops man.

I love the LPS, your tank looks amazing.
How do you take care of the tank. And what's ur secret in making the coral that awesome.

AWESOME setup,

Can you give us more details on both the 18x18x14 and the frag tanks, maintenance, husbandry, dosing ect.
