Aquarium plants co2 regulator help

I'm have trouble keeping the psi at a steady number. I first tried 12 psi. Checked the gauge a few hours later and the psi had increased to 12.5. It kept on doing the same thing so I lower the psi to 10 and a few hours later it was at 9.5. What going on? Do I need to to move the psi around until I find the sweet spot?

i usually run 20 psi working pressure on mine. the FW plants kids seem to like using an additional low pressure regulator and fancy needle valves to keep things more stable since they like to go entirely by bubble-count and not use ph controllers.

find rex grigg's page (look around plantedtank.net)

The folks at aquarium plants provide excellent customer service. If you have any issues with it, they are very willing to help you out.

Thanks for the responses. From what I read the setup needs to run for a day or two before everything becomes rock solid? Is this correct? I checked it this morning and it was still at 10psi. Lets hope it stays there so I can start making some changes.

I checked out grigg's page but it only tell you how to initially set it up. I didn't know what I was doing and I actually did it in the right order.

I e-mailed aquarium plants to see what they would say.

Just stopped by home to check on the setup, and again it's starting to drop back down by .5 psi. Can the temp swings throughout the day in the room cause the system to fluctuate? It seems like it drops by .5 during the day and raises back up to normal during the night.
