I am repairing an aquarium, replacing a side glass. What sealant should I use? I am not seeing anything in stores that says "aquarium safe". What should I look for? Is 100% silicone safe?
Have you checked a good hardware store? They sell 'aquarium safe' silicone at mine. 100% silicone is safe. Let it cure 24-48 hours and you're ready to leak test. Good luck with the project!
If you are looking for black, I purchased a used tank and had to reseal it due to a leak. I used Momentive RTV103 from McMaster Carr. That stuff is wicked!
