Aquarium stand builder bay area?

Anybody have any suggestions on a custom stand builder in the bay area?

Kind of a meeting of the minds. I had the concept but we refined it with some sketches and a little back and forth.

I would like to do that on my next big system, I always loved the big hoods like that, but its soooo hard to access the tank..
that is the best of both hoods!!

Yep. The doors in the front of the hood also open so I can use them for a simple feed to to access something in the top compartment

your tank is sweet who made it for you? are the overflows external?

Yes the overflows are external. It was a used tank whose size was perfect for the space I had 60"Hx28"tall x 24" deep.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but can you tell me what type of wood you chose on your stand?

Knowing Chris it was poplar furniture grade 3/4" ply for all but the trim

LOL, it's a beautiful stand and canopy!

I can't tell if it is finished in a dark brown/mahogany stain or if it is painted black...?

Sad to see the place that built it has closed.

Lol. His company probably moved closer to you. There's hardly any craftsmen left around here. Just mostly money collectors around here. Not to many care about the quality. Competing with people that don't care, is making me want to run as far as I can. Needless to say, I can build it. But you'll pay

I'd say around 4500 for that stand. Extra 1200 to add steel.
