i thought there was a large lfs arouns williamsport but i cant remember the name any help would be greatly app...
putting in a dsb and dont want to pay 200.00 shipping. olmers in pitt is my other option...thanks, frank

I have a 7" DSB in my 75. I used Southdown play sand. Southdown is no longer available, but alot of reefers are using Kolorscape play sand with good results. It is much cheaper, to make it live just get a cup of sand from a fellow reefer and put it on top of your DSB.

thanks for the response guys...i bit the bullet this morning and went to elmers and got 200# of carib sea. its about time i got rid of my eight year old crushed coral/ under gravel filter system;)
on a side note; does anyone know where i can find that thread on replacing a subtrate on an existing tank, cant seem to find it here or on m.d. site. thanks again, frank
