Aquasanrise 120

Aquasanrise 120 enough for a 180 (72x24x24)?
Aquascape takes up about 60" of length. I'm coming from 2 Photon 32's with a custom layout for a freshwater planted tank. Really can't use the existing lights so I'm looking at all options.
I will be using the existing canopy that's 9 inch's from the surface and a 2" sand bed. Corals will probably be high light requirement. Still Planning.

Thanks
Tony

If I can use this light over my 180 would you ask Logan to do a custom layout and get rid of the red and green LED"s? Maybe replace with Royal blue's?

I don't know what variations of pucks they have available for the Aqusanrise. Or if you can just replace the leds in each puck? They say it's easy, does that mean no soldering required? But I'd try it with the reds and greens first. Because they are in pucks and very close to other colors of leds (whites and blues) they should blend much better (at least I think they should). And if they don't, order up different pucks and replace the ones with reds and greens. I'd want ones with either more blues or more violets. And the fixture has 6 channels of color control, so you can dial out the red and green leds to see if it makes enough difference that you even want to make the change?

Ron,
I watched a clip on Reef Breeders site where Logan demonstrates how easy it would be to change out individual diodes. Pretty easy, I think. There website makes it sound like you can order a custom layout. Here is a link to the clip. https://youtu.be/99plTRReW5g
Looks like you can also order with 120 degree lenses.

Very cool how easy that is!!! All led fixtures should be that way! I wish I had seen the Aquasanrise when I was looking at buying the Photon V2. You might also consider keeping the red and green leds and using 120 degree lenses over those.

Defiantly would use the 120 degree lenses for better blending and coverage. I have a PM to Logan trying to see if the 120 model would cover a standard 180 gallon. Will have about 6" on each end with no rock or corals. Light will be 6" above the water surface.
What do you think Ron?

It looks like Logan has LED boards in stock for my Photon V1 32's for a reef. I think I will remove the custom boards for a planted tank and install the new boards.
Not sure the exact layout but the lights are in great shape. Never had any problems.
