Aquascape Advice and Thoughts

I'm seeking advise from as many as I can before I begin to glue my rock. I was wanting to know if I should go with the land bridge or without? I'm not a huge fan of arches and bridges, but this one don't bother me as much. Also, could you let me know what you think about the aquascape overall. I would like to have as many opinions before I glue the rock and place my sand into the tank.

Thanks

I like the last picture with the two different sized islands (and no bridge) the best. Very similar to my aquascape......offers plenty of room for water movement as well as coral placement. Still gives plenty of room for fish .

+1

Very similar to my setup as well.

Really? I thought the last pic just looks like piles of rocks? To each their own I guess.

If it were me, I would get a large flat piece and place it on the top of both piles. It gives you a nice ledge to keep corals under for light acclimation, and a nice place for a cleaner shrimp to hang out on(they like overhangs and hang on them upside down). I'm partial to the lagoon look myself.

I am with the majority and say skip the bridge i like the gap between them, also another just throwing it out there, but how about making one mound slightly bigger then the other, right now they are very similar in height and kinda compete with your eye, I think if one was larger it would look more natural, but just my 2 cents.

Well yeah, all pics were of piles of rocks, we chose the best pile out of pics provided!
Sure OP can rework it all, and yes I do like more caves or openings, but I think the overall consensus was it seems best as two islands w/out the ledge between.
I think it will look just fine when corals are all over it anyway.

Thanks for all the input. I also like it best without the bridge. Yeah and I agree I need to shorten one Island over the other. I do have some caves but you really cant see them that well from the pictures and plus they aren't huge but they are there.

Aren't all aquascapes are a pile of rocks in the beginning, especially until you place life on them and the colonies start to grow out, then rock work disappears.

Beautiful setup. The only thing I would change is on the left. I would open that side up a little more. Make few more caves and pathways for fish. I love the two island look though. My scape looks a lot like yours except I have a bridge, albeit a small one.
