aquascape feedback

Hello Everyone,
I just set up my biocube29 last week and I'd like some feedback on my aquascape. I'd like to keep zoa's, a xenia, a clam and at some point some acropora. (I know about the stock lighting and I'm upgrading to a sunpod 150w hqi) Do you think my structure will work? It's not yet made permanent with expoxy, so I can still change it.

There's a total of 45lbs in the tank, some of which is small rubble in the middle section of the overflow. It's fiji "premium select" from liveaquaria.com, I hope I didn't get ripped off???...45lbs for 119+~70 shipping +tax= ~190 Does the rock look like good quality????

I also have one other question. I just checked my water and my nitrites are off the charts and my nitrates are about 200ppm. Should I do a water change or just let it go for a while?

You will rearrange the rockwork 1 or 2 more times within a yr.
You need to let cycle go and whene readings drop and staedy then you know your cycled.

I like it to but I would lay the rock that's on the top left of the pic flat. The way you have it now it won't hold any coral.

I would think about breaking up some of the pieces, smaller LR pieces make the tank look bigger and provide more beneficial surface area. Just my 2 cents.

The top right rock looks like it is violating the rock under it

Other than that - It's not bad, a little clustered but nice!

bugbdon, looks good.but I like more caves...so do the fish. It gives them a place to hide.

hey thanks everyone. yeah i really need to figure out what to do with that rock that's in the top right hand corner. it was hard to fit 45lbs in a 29 without it looking like a pile of rocks! maybe i'll break it apart and make more caves somehow.

i like the rock in the top right corner right where it is. you can glue sps to it easily.

In my picture above, thats only about 16 lbs od LR. Most of the rocs are small psc. This way you can use the small ones as building blocks & the bigger ones as shelves & angles.......Just my opinion.

Also go to the photo galery and look at pictures of some larger tanks, pick out a section that looks kool & do something like it in yours.....then see how you like it.
