Well, we will be re-aquascapingthis thursday. I will have some mushrooms, GSP, maybe some SPS and live rock left over. Any ideas on what to do?

I will be posting pics. as soon as I can. Now I think my tank looks like a fruit stand. We are trying for a more natural look. Wish us luck.

any ideas on how I should aquascape?

try not to clump everything in the middle. maybe try to create some different scenes in the tank instead of piling it in the middle. you have a ton of nice stuff there!

With my 40Br I plan on doing a slanted one sided hill. leaves some open space for fish swimming plus I find it looks a bit more natural with the corals I intend on having.

I'm going to try and create a separate island scape and a lagoon like type of look. I know I have too much LR, and I will have to frag or sell some of the corals.
Thanks for you input. I really don't like the way it is set up now.

here's an update on the tank. I LOVEIT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT.
I really didn't have to get rid of any rocks and just i only have a few mushrooms left.

Looks tons better....

Just my opinion, but I would try to keep from putting in any more coral. Let the ones you got grow out and fill in. You will get a much more natural look. The best tanks I have seen have only 10-20 corals in them.

My LFS, a very good one, has a 240 gallon with 18 different corals in it. They have been growing for 10 years and fragged when needed. But they are all big and beautiful looking.

thanks everyone!
I think i won't put any more corals in for now. this is my 1st reef tank and was not sure what i wanted, except for oh, i wnat one of those (hehe) now i'm going to trade in my mushrooms for for sps.

your tank rocks literally lots of it, very inviting. I like your fish also, I went overboard on mine. they are just all fighting , too many chiefs.
