Aquaspacelight replacement glass

I recently bought a 48" 2x250w HQI Aquaspacelight from someone on the RC selling forum. The seller had it packed and shipped from a UPS Store. The UPS Store did a horrible job packing the light and the glass broke during shipping. The light was insured for $800 but I really don't want to file a UPS damage claim because I know from experience that this is going to be a long and grueling process.

Anyone know where I can get replacement glass for this light?

You might want to give the manufacturer a ringy dingy.

I would definitely file the claim with UPS. Even if it's a long process, it's better to eventually get a check than never at all. I think part of that process depends on the local store. I had to file a claim around Christmas time and it was easy peasy. I had the money in less than a week.

I'd file a claim and in the meantime just go to a local glass shop and have them cut a piece the correct size. Don't run the de bulbs w/o that glass or with a crack in it.
