i have the 90 led kit from aquastyle. i was trying to attach my led's to my heat sink but the plaster never set even after an hour i could still move the led around and the package says dries in 10 min. the heatsink i am using is 3/4 inch aluminum u channel. whats your experience with this? did yours set up or remain flexable

I have used several of their kits so far. I usually leave it sit for 24 hours before I try to do anything with it. After 24 hours its nice and firm.

I used a 36 dimmable kit from them about a month ago. Recieved the kit in about 2 weeks.What a difference it made from my stock lighting. I have a RSM 130. Was able to keep everything in the stock hood.

sorry...didnt take any, but everything fit very nice once you take out the stock lights, I kept the stock moon lights

How manditory are the heat sinks?? Could I add the LEDs to a fixture and have a fan keeping them cool?

From everything that I've read, you need to dissipate the heat from the diode or you'll burn it out.

+1. my tank height is 21 inches & i am planning to keep LPS & SPS.

for those asking about how mny to use a good rule of thumb is to use one 3w LED for every 12-15 sq inches of surface area for SPS. Go with more if you use narrow optics to get the penetration and I'd round up to what ever you put on a string (usually 12). Will less work? sure but I'd rather have the coverage and dim down as needed

If my memory serves me right a 55 is 12" (maybe 13) front to back by 48" long so I'd start with a 48 LED kit

A 75 is also 48 long but like 18 to 19" front to back, so I'd start with 72 LED's and go from there

Just ordered the 36 LED DIY dimmable kit with 7x15 heat sink and 12 cm fan. I also ordered 10 of the 45 & 80 degree lens to be safe.

I'm thinking about putting the 14 led dimable kit on my 14 gal biocube (I want to use it as my clownfish broodstock tank) and was wondering what are your experience with these lights and anemones?

All I can say is WOW!!!

AquaStyle Online has my LED business for life.

The service was great, shipping was super fast and the product is beyond my expectations. The LED's arrived well packed and nothing was broke or missing that I ordered, this rare coming from Hong Kong. All bags were clearly marked with white or blue led's and they actually sent 2 extra led's per color. The instructions are clear to read and even have pictures for people like me. :fun4:

Oh and they even include an led tester so that you can test them all before you screw/plaster them in place. And boy let me tell you, I am not new to led's and these are BRIGHT... I will no longer be buying anymore Radions for my tanks in the future.

Once again, really nice product at a great price.
